My Story

I’m Jared Spoor, a photographer and cinematographer focused on creating images that feel cinematic, honest, and story-driven. My work blends visual style with emotion, whether I’m shooting portraits, live events, behind-the-scenes moments, or film projects. I’m drawn to the way light, movement, and composition can turn real moments into something memorable. Through every project, my goal is to capture images that feel intentional, personal, and alive.

To Be Death (2026)

I wrote and produced To Be Death.

This had been a passion project for about two years. I was happy to finally make this as a senior project in LA California. The story follows Death apprentice as he is tested on his first ever reaping. The soul he collects is not one that he expects.

MidClass Zoneout (2026)

I co-directed and was the cinematographer for this music video.

I was very happy to be a part of this project and make a music video with Holly Heckney. We used a total of 16 different lights to create the various scenes. It was very fun being challenged in this way.

Weilding Promo

I produced, directed, shot, and edited this video

This video was made for Instagram, promoting my grandfather’s wielding.

No Time to Talk

I directed and helped edit this short film.
No Time to Talk was one of the first short films that I ever directed. We were working with barely any budget and a crew of five people.

The story follows a young man who goes to his first speed dating event. He fails and tries to do basic conversation only to learn that he has the ability to travel back in time to the beginning of the event.

Senior photos are more than just portraits. They capture the excitement, relief, and pride of finally reaching a milestone you worked hard for. I focus on creating images that feel natural, personal, and true to who you are in that moment.

Event photography is something I’m grateful I’ve gotten to experience. I value being able to capture not just how an event looked, but how it felt in the moment. My goal is to preserve the energy, emotion, and details that made each event worth remembering.

Couples photography is about capturing the connection between two people in a way that feels natural and real. I enjoy finding the small moments — the laughs, the looks, and the quiet in-between details — that show who a couple is together. My goal is to create photos that feel personal, honest, and worth holding onto.
